Gettysburg: Bloody July, 1863 is Volume 2 of Paul Koenig's Bloody Civil War Series.
It is a two-player war game simulating the biggest battle of the American Civil War that took place on July 1-3 1863 and proved to be the high water mark of the Confederacy and their last best chance to win the war. As the Confederate player, you control Lee's biggest army ever put on the field of battle. You must strike fast for the high ground and deny Meade an opportunity to concentrate his superior forces. As the Union player, you must hold fast, giving ground grudging as your army arrives piecemeal. You cannot let your opponent take the high ground! Can you stave off defeat before the majority of your forces arrive?
