July 6, 1809 - The Austrians have re-entered the war against Napoleon in an attempt to regain lost territories and power while French forces are tied down in Spain. The Austrian army has been reorganized under the competent Archduke Charles. Napoleon in typical style launches a lightning campaign against the Austrians and giving battle at the town of Wagram near the Austrian capital Both leaders are confident of success and prepared for a spectacular victory.
The game takes about 90 minutes to play. One player commands the French forces and the other player commands the Austrian army. Cards vary the game play.
